Wave Blanket - completed!

Before I let you see any pictures of my Wave, I must give credit to Lanas de Ana for her pattern, see here. Look around the rest of her blog while you are there, she has some lovely patterns and projects.

So, are you ready?

Do you want to see my Wave?

Oh, go on then!

Here it is, and I love it! I think I said previously it is done in Stylecraft Special Aran. Yes it is acrylic, but it is so soft, warm and snuggly so I don't care.

Lovely coastal colours, Parchment, Cream, Lemon, Aspen, Meadow, Aster and Denim.

A little border action!

I was going to do a wavy border but then thought it would be too much so I just did a plain one with rows of dc and treble.

Oh it's just delicious!

Overload of photos maybe? Nah, I don't think so!

Do you want to know the best bit of all? I sent the first pic to older son and he said,

'Looks quite good actually!! Good pattern'

I almost fainted! Did you read that Ana 'Good pattern' that is praise indeed from older son!

Phew three posts in one day, there's value for you. I have more in the pipeline too, so watch this space! :-)

  3. I am so glad I came across your blog. I have been wanting to start a blanket but couldn't decide what pattern to use. You have inspired me! I can't wait to start my "Wave." I live in Seattle, Washington where we are surrounded by waves.

    1. Hi Caroline, I'm so pleased you like the Wave blanket I think you will really enjoy doing it. I will definitely do another one at some point. I do love living on the coast I'm not quite as close to the water as Tom Hanks' characters house in the film though :-) Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment I hope you come back soon. Rowen x
PS The inspiration is all from Ana at Lanas de Ana :-)
